In depth

Verdict

CALYPSO STAR didn't have the smoothest of passages when scoring last time but given that he was an impressive winner we stick by him to follow up in the Classsified race with Green Earth and Maristar looking the likely dangers. The margin of the selection's last score doesn't reallt do his performanace justice. He had to be threaded through runners after quickening with some aplomb so in this small field he should get a clearer run and overcome a seven pound mark hike. Green Earth has been on form haviong only been beaten a neck in two of his last three efforts. Once again he nearly got to the winner with a late rattle last time so this extra yardage should help. Maristar was a winner of a maiden on her last start as a juvenile but she doesn't look thrown in here on her debut in these ranks while Gifted Apakay has a similar profile Dromore and Flying destination both need to improve to win this so in a small field Calypso Star is a pretty solid pick.
