Verdict

After a promising reappearance at Newmarket, Ice Cold Bex has disappointed in a couple of handicaps back at HQ and is not certain to appreciate today's longer trip either. ENCORE UN FOIS was bought from the Cumani yard at last month's sales and he's fared much better in handicap company with a couple of placed efforts. Breeding suggests he'll stay today's distance and he gets the vote on his debut for George Baker. Roman Flame looks the best of the remainder but the others have plenty to find on today's terms.
