Verdict
Veteran Salient, Lions Charge and Awesome Rock are all past winners here but that seems a long time ago now. This is an even less attractive betting proposition than the first division and only a token vote goes to STAPLEHURST, who did at least show signs of life last month here and at Wolverhampton and can reverse running with Graceful Lady if given a more positive ride. Smoky Hill has the ability to figure in a race like this and looks the pick of the remainder.
