        Verdict

        Lord Cooper failed to cope with a rise in the weights last time having won here before that. It remains to be seen how well TRANQUIL DAZE fares raised 8lb for winning at Southwell but he scored by nearly three lengths with the minimum of fuss on that occasion and should go close again. Man About Town is one of the least exposed and drops in class while Spin Top has been running well over 5f and Dashing Poet was runner-up over track and trip recently without threatening the winner.
