Verdict
None of these have won a race yet but ALPINE MYSTERIES looks to have every chance of finally opening her account after a frustrating run of placed efforts. She steps up a furlong after her latest third at Lingfield which is the strongest piece of recent form on offer. Dude Alert, Mastered and Slip Of the Tongue are also attempting middle-distances for the first time and the latter is worth noting given Sir Mark Prescott's record with similar types. Most of the remainder have all been well beaten over 1m4f with exception of Running Bull, who posted a better effort when third at Lingfield last time.
