    Verdict

Turtle Dove, Dream Sea and Tinnarinka are the three that appeal most with a close eye kept on debutante Music Party. Turtle Dove gets our vote. Tinnarinka's connections will be keen to get a win into her and she went close to obliging on her return from a year on the sidelines. It's slightly surprising to see her drop down in trip given how well she saw out ten furlongs last time but she's a leading player. Dream Sea shaped with promise in 7 furlong maidens last year and should win a race but may need to be stepped up further in trip in order to do so. Moon Crystal caught the eye on debut and support for that one or for Mark Johnston's newcomer would be of obvious interest but we'll stick with Turtle Dove. Marco Botti is a force to be reckoned with at this venue, particularly when Oscar Urbina rides, and there were a lot of positives to be taken from the debut of his Tobougg filly. She stayed on strongly over course and distance to take third without being given too hard a time of things and Turtle Dove can reap the benefits of that introduction tonight.
