        Verdict

        Wizard Looking was well backed to make a winning return to action last month and is taken to follow up. Little Richard, Hiawatha, Medieval Maiden and Mid Valley are four of the more obvious alternatives with handicap debutant Star Of Pompey one to watch in the market. The selection hadn't been out since June 2006 prior to justifying strong market support at Wolverhampton last month. He's been raised by 6lbs but has been given plenty of time to recover from his exertions by his shrewd trainer and he may well be able to overcome his higher mark. Little Richard should be in the mix but may need to drop a pound or two before he can return to winning ways with similar remarks applying to Mid Valley who has been raised 1lb for his latest defeat. Medieval Maiden isn't too badly handicapped and Star Of Pompey is completely unexposed but Wizard Looking is our idea of the winner in the finale.
