    In depth

    Verdict

The three top-weights, Noora, Colwyn Bay and Dark Parade could fight out the finish here and we will side with Noora. The selection had been steadily improving before beating Beckenham's Secret at Chepstow and there could be more to come. She also went well here over course and distance back in June off a much higher mark and she should go close this evening. Colwyn Bay is going to be a tough nut to crack. He comes here chasing a four-timer and hasn't been punished too harshly by the handicapper. Another big run is expected under Mr Spencer. Dark Parade has gone off the boil recently but if returning to anywhere near his best he would have strong claims. Of the others Sir Mark Prescott's Hora is worth a look in the betting, but we believe Noora is on the upgrade and she gets the decision.
