Verdict

THE NEW ONE, winner of the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle in April and an unlucky third in the Champion Hurdle earlier, took this easily last year on his reappearance and should outclass these despite giving away plenty of weight. Australia Day will ensure a good gallop which will suit Nigel Twiston-Davies' stable star. Forgotten Voice is a classy sort on the Flat and is lightly-raced over timber. He will probably be a bit fitter than a few of these but Hint Of Mint and Kilcooley need more and Starluck isn't the force of old.
