Verdict

RED SUEDE SHOES can step on the mark tonight though Bennelong and Seek The Fair Land are worthy of note. The Rod Millman stable have their flock in fine form and this gelding has ran consistently throughout the purple patch. The handicapper has been a little harsh is putting him up to a revised rating of 73 though he could have been burdened with more. Bennelong scored well under Frankie Dettori at Southwell. He did not show a lot on his previous visit to this course but Ryan Moore's presence is a positive. Seek The Fair Land took part in a decent contest by the track's standards last month and in a lot of ways, this assignment looks to be against weaker opposition. El Libertador has gone close in a couple of handicaps and having performed adequately at Kempton in the past, he has obvious claims. Banda Sea is tried in blinkers after a first foray in cheek pieces proved unsuccessful. Moojeh obliged in a maiden at the course so could conceivably leave behind a poor run at Wolverhampton. Red Suede Shoes is the call in a race where it is difficult to rule many out with conviction.
