        Verdict

        Tartan Bute was a progressive four-year-old and has gone well fresh before but has been off the track since March last year and POTTERS LADY JANE looks a safer bet. Lucy Wadham’s mare just missed out at Nottingham when stepped up to 1m6f and this extra distance may bring further progress. Authorized Too landed a double including a course and distance success last year and will be sharper for a recent reappearance but 1m5f winner Darksideoftarnside has something to prove over today’s trip judged on an earlier attempt at Ascot when Sunblazer was also well beaten.
