In depth

Verdict

A race that needs some reference to the market before stakes are wagered and Fair Gale can take this at the principal expense of Seattle Storm and Walton House. The selection has more experience than most and while not any great shakes, this is an obvious choice of engagements for him as the handicapper may have been a little harsh with his initial handicap assessment. Seattle Storm has been described by David Elsworth as being a little wayward in his tendancies at home. He caught the eye on debut and can progress. Walton House has to be respected on debut as he is closely related to a number of milers. The market will tell its own tale. Toballa receives the fillies allowance while Hiss And Boo hails from a yard not known for first time out juvenile winners. Henry James makes a British debut for Marco Botti. Fair Gale can put experience to good use in tonight's opening contest.
