Verdict
RED GULCH looks the most progressive on paper and is taken to follow up form his recent success at the expense of Scottish Boogie and Faited To Pretend. The selection landed himself in the winners enclosure at Wolverhampton on only his second career outing. He looks a horse that is more than capable of winning off a mark of 79 and with that in mind he is worth staying on the right side of for the time being. Scottish Boogie is seven pounds higher in the weights since winning at Yarmouth on his final outing of last season. He will have matured over the winter months and will be worth noting in the market on his seasonal reappearance. Fainted To Pretend comes from a yard in form and did nothing wrong when landing the odds at Lingfield after breaking his maiden tag last time out. He is another that is progressive and is sure to be in the shake come the business end of the race. Red Gulch is still unexposed and is worth siding with once again.
