Verdict

The once-useful Ermyn Lodge is the only course and distance winner here but he's been in very poor form, though in much better company. No Such Number is consistent enough at this sort of level though his best all-weather runs have been at Southwell. Ice Apple has had 20 starts on an artificial surface without winning but Dr Finley has scored over the trip at Lingfield from a 2lb lower mark. MISTER BOB has been well suited by stepping up to this trip and showed that stamina is no problem at Lingfield last time. He's only 3lb higher and Ted Durcan can steer him home again.
