    Verdict

    Kepple's Best has been a 100/1 chance on both starts and finished last on each occasion. He looks the only one of the quintet without a chance. Doppler Effect carries top weight by virtue of his yearling price and he made a fair debut at Pontefract where he may have finished closer but didn't get the clearest of runs. DAD'S GIRL is receiving 11lb from the top weight which should be enough to see her across the line as she was caught in the closing stages over Beverley's stiff 5f last time. Straightothepoint has run four of his five starts on soft ground and appears best with some give while Lily Moreton finished last on her nursery debut after being beaten at odds-on when tackling soft ground on this track.
