Verdict
ANAYA is our pick in the maiden with Spirit Of Love and Not In The Clock worthy of inclusion upon our shortlist. The selection has had plenty of chances to break her duck but she stays this trip effectively enough and on BHA ratings, it will take a fair type to beat her. Spirit Of Love ran much better on debut than his price suggested. The way in which he kept on suggests that a mile will be more to his liking. Not In The Clock has had two starts thus far. He has not sparkled from the stalls and will need to be much more alert. Shoot The Pot appeared to need the experience on debut at Salisbury. Brave Talk's dam was from the family of Dandoun so on paper, a mile would be ideal. The market is watched to see if that idea filters through. Grams And Ounces ran respectably in a seller at Wolverhampton though the overall formlines suggest that he will need to have improved again. Anaya can make full use of the opportunity that has been presented to her.
