SOLVEIG'S SONG was disqualified after finishing first past the post at Sandown in September so it was a surprise when he started 33/1 here last month where he got up close home. He's only 4lb higher and his young rider's claim is a bonus so he's taken to go in again. Red Cossack has never raced beyond a mile but has been staying on over that trip here recently so should be suited by the extra. Boycie is another stepping up to the trip for the first time while Dream Ruler hasn't won since his debut here in March 2014, though has been running well lately and should get into the frame again. Zabeel Star has had just four unplaced runs on the all-weather, all of them on Tapeta, but Fastnet Blast hasn't had much racing and should be suited by dropping back to this trip after showing up well over 1m4f. Estibdaad has been beaten in lower-grade events than this recently.
