Verdict

Soaring Spirits has yet to win on the all-weather but arrives here off the back of a gutsy win in an apprentices' handicap over 7f at Doncaster and has the plum draw. Noble Citizen's best trip is 7f and Escape To Glory may also have stamina limitations but Naaz has won twice over a mile on Turf and is unexposed on the Polytrack while it would be no surprise to see Kempton specialist Chapter And Verse stage a revival. WELL PAINTED is 3lb lower than when a close-up fourth over track and trip in August and gained a morale-boosting win in a 1m2f at Windsor last month. He could be the answer to this tricky handicap with Nathan Alison claiming a valuable 5lb.
