Verdict

BARN OWL (NAP) made all for an easy win at Beverley last month and can defy a rise in the weights with a first-time tongue-tie possibly bringing further improvement. March Law finished five lengths behind the selection but will be sharper for that seasonal debut and can finish closer on today’s much better terms. Marching Army never threatened over track and trip last time but Beating All failed to get a clear run at Newcastle, though has switched yards subsequently. Percy's Lad is fitted with a hood in the hope of improvement.
