Verdict

Gordon Elliott has hit the ground running since his return to action and FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU looks a really nice prospect for the yard. He beat the useful Run For Oscar in a Thurles bumper in February last year and has all the attributes to make a smart hurdler. Moulane West easily won a Killarney bumper in July but was well beaten in a better race at the Galway Festival a couple of weeks later. Desert Friend won two of his last four starts on the Flat in the UK and should do well for Denis Hogan while Choir Practice started favourite at Roscommon on the back of a promising debut but didn't perform as well as expected.
