In depth

Verdict

Alfa Mix, a smart hurdler, will be better for his three runs over fences last winter while Glentruan was a progressive type over timber. Heroes Of Renown was in touch when falling two out on his chasing bow at Killarney while Mormon was well there when falling three out at Punchestown. Port Stanley has been placed in six of seven starts over fences while The Bosses Oscar, runner-up in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham, looks a smart recruit to chasing. BUSSELTON is only four but has already run twice over fences, the latest when an excellent second to Karl Der Grosse at Killarney. He'll improve again and his allowance can see him home.
