Verdict
Tooka and Reland deserve plenty of respect, but SILVER DOLLARS will take plenty of beating here. The David Arbuthnot-trained selection kept on really well to record a 14-length success on good going at Musselburgh last time, and he gets conditions and trip in his favour again here. The handicapper has raised him 12lbs for the win, so this is plenty tough enough, but he looks on the improve now and we'll take him to follow up. Men-of-the-moment Nigel Twiston-Davies and Paddy Brennan combine with Reland, who has been runner-up on his last two starts, once over hurdles and then more recently on his chase debut at Ludlow. He acts on good to soft and good to firm, so hopefully today's ground won't be an issue and with the stable red hot he is much respected. Tooka has been going the right way over fences and that progress culminated in a win at Leicester last time. Good ground suits and he can go close. King Jack would prefer softer ground and has plenty of racing weight to lump around here, while Mark Of Brilliance has his preferred conditions and is on a decent mark, but preference is for Silver Dollars.
