In depth

Verdict

This looks a wide open claimer where Tony Carroll's COUNTRY ROAD is the percentage call with Richard Hughes up for the first time. An easy winner of a seller three starts back the selection has held his form well in a couple of starts and was only just denied on the latest of those. On these terms he should run well. On the ratings there's nothing to choose between the selection and Robby Bobby. Mark Johnston's runner was only just held in an apprentice claimer last time and with Greg Fairley in the plate this time could go a couple better. Potentiale shouldn't have much to find on these terms but Country Road is due a win and can get it here.
