A fourth race on tonight’s card restricted to two-year-olds. Spirit Kingdom has produced mixed results since scoring over 7f here in June but could make the frame if on a going day. Padura Brave has won both previous starts here, one over this trip, but has another 4lb rise to overcome. Both Lady Cosette and Extreme Force were sent off favourite last time but neither covered themselves in glory and Eden Gardens may have more scope, especially now upped in distance. SIMON’S SMILE ran his best race so far over this trip at Newcastle and an opening mark of 70 looks reasonable so he gets the nod in an open-looking contest.
