Verdict
KAI MOOK is returned to the track very rapidly after romping away in style to score here on Sunday. The mare has clearly relished being stepped up significantly in trip and Roger Ingram is obviously keen to exploit her current mark as she's sure to receive considerable punishment from the handicapper for that easy success. Mark Coumbe's 5lb claim all but cancels out her penalty for Sunday's win and she will be very hard to beat here if repeating that level of form. Little Jazz enjoyed a thoroughly consistent 2011 and, back at a mark of 65, she should be pretty competitive now and is an interesting each-way option. Broughtons Paradis also seems likely to get her head back in front sometime soon and it will be no surprise if Willie Musson's consistent mare emerges as the chief threat to the selection.
