In depth

Verdict

A chance is taken with Fantasy Explorer, who appears to be getting the hang of things and is fancied to deliver the goods today, while the in-form Sarah's Art and Danish Blues are other that can take a hand if they run up to expectations. Danish Blues was just in behind the Sarah's Art when they met at Wolverhampton last month and has a strong chance of reversing the form on these terms. The son of Danetime is one to carefully monitor in the betting market. Sarah's Art is on an upward curve, though, and cannot be ruled out in his current frame of mind. This is a step up in grade but, as he has been revitalised by the fitting of blinkers, he can again give his supporters plenty to shout about. Another worth mentioning is Twinned, who is a likely contender for cutting out the early running. However, he was no match for Fantasy Explorer at Wolverhampton last month and needs to settle better to last home this afternoon. Therefore, we prefer to stay with John Quinn's charge, who represents connections that have enjoyed plenty of success in this type of contest over the years. Fantasy Explorer dropped a significant hint that he has more to offer with an improved display last time out and he can use that effort as a platform to launch his handicap career from a very lenient mark.
