In depth

Verdict

Aather hasn't run on the Flat for some time and has been in poor form over hurdles but is now on a very lowly mark and the betting should be watched. Amana has won three times on Turf but never on the all-weather though she ran her best race for a long time over this track and trip on Wednesday. Having A Ball is a real specialist on this track having won five times here though he's only ever been as far as this once in a 70-race career. BRIDGE THAT GAP is very lightly-raced for his age but has already won twice over 1m2f here. He looked as though he was still progressing when successful three weeks ago and a 5lb rise shouldn't prevent a follow-up. Silkee Supreme also enters the fray in winning form having gained his first-ever victory here recently and he has a decent chance against the selection having finished strongly when behind on his previous run.
