In depth
Verdict
SUPER FRANK can take the nightcap and complete the hat-trick; the list of dangers is headed by Al Gillani and Brandywell Boy. The selection could not be in better form and he was an easy winner at Lingfield last time. There is a slight worry about the draw here as he has been drawn on the outside, but the cheek-pieces have had a positive effect and hopefully they can do the trick for him again here. Al Gillani was in terrific form last year but he has been off the racecourse since September and he may be sharper for the outing. However, he does go well here and he has a good draw so if he is fit enough then he could be a leading player. Brandywell Boy also has course and distance form but he is arguably better over the minimum trip. Milne Bay disappointed over 7f last time but the return to this trip should see him in a better light. There are plenty in with a shout but if Super Frank can overcome his wide draw he should be hard to beat.
