Verdict
COBBLER'S QUEEN can make the most of the weight that she receives from Tara Taylor. That's For Sure and Ruby Isabel are also considered whilst we'll be keeping a close eye on Bob 'n' You. Henry Daly has a decent strike rate with his hurdlers at this track and Cobbler's Queen appears to be well enough handicapped to add to that in the process of breaking her duck. She showed a modicum of ability during the course of her first five starts but produced a career best on her handicap bow which coincided with faster ground. She's bred to appreciate this longer trip and is fancied to take another step forwards. Tara Taylor also makes a good bit of appeal as one of few in this line-up with the potential to progress. Her breeding suggests that she'll relish this stiffer test of stamina and she's open to plenty of improvement after just two starts over hurdles. There may also be more to come from Ruby Isabel now that the ground has dried out whilst Waltham Abbey and That's For Sure have fairly solid form claims. Bob 'n' You hasn't fulfilled the promise that he showed in bumpers for John Spearing but he's having his first run for a new yard that is going well at present so don't be surprised if he attracts support. He'd be interesting if that were to occur but we'll take Cobbler's Queen to reign.
