      Verdict

      Both Al Khafji and Gold Faith step up in trip having won maiden races on the Polytrack and the former is having his first start since November. Epsom Day won his maiden over 1m4f at Lingfield but a 9lb rise now looks excessive while Real Dominion returned a disappointing favourite at Salisbury having gone close over track and trip earlier. MOUEENN will need to step up on a recent third at Nottingham to figure but a claimer takes 7lb off his back today and Roger Varian’s charge can confirm latest running with Clever Bob on these terms.
