        Verdict

        A couple of these bid for hat-tricks. Rose Above has been winning lower grade contests but won over today's trip at Lingfield last time while Midtech Star steps up in distance after winning over 1m6f at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago. Oratorio's Joy finished just ahead of DUCHESS OF MARMITE over 1m6f at Chelmsford last month but the latter has won three times over today's trip before and went close again at Dundalk at the start of the year. Richard Hughes' filly gets the nod ahead of course and distance winner Todd, a recent runner-up in this grade at Lingfield.
