In depth

Verdict

Get Ahead made a winning debut at Ascot last year and finished sixth in the Queen Mary on her second start. She should stay the extra furlong this year but this is no straightforward task giving weight away. LIR SPECIALE is a half-brother to a 6f winner and Roger Varian’s stable has struck form in recent days. Morag Mccullagh ran well for a long way at Newmarket in the autumn and she will have learned plenty that day.
