Verdict
Crystal Casque was placed yet again at Salisbury last time but has just the one win in 17 attempts. Local History won a maiden race over 6f at Yarmouth on her return to action and has plenty of scope while REGAL BANNER (NAP) is also expected to improve. The latter still finished fourth at Carlisle on her handicap debut despite losing a shoe and Roger Varian’s yard remains in fine form. Kodiac Lass and Lucky Turn are others with scope for improvement while Alba Del Sole gets a change of headgear after going close over 6f at Lingfield and Ventura Blues has yet to take advantage of a slide down the weights.
