Verdict

On To Victory has become hard to place but Commanche Red is handicapped to go close. Earlofthecotswolds is on a hat-trick but is possibly a shade high in the weights now and Ecco has been a bit disappointing since finishing second over track and trip last season. Heross Du Seuil has an absence to overcome while stablemate Marie's Rock tries a new trip, though the latter wasn’t disgraced in last month’s Greatwood at Cheltenham. OUR SURPRISE was staying-on when third over 2m3f at Haydock and the fourth ran well at Lingfield earlier in the week so Harry Fry’s charge can halt the winning run of the prolific grey An Tailliur.
