In depth

Verdict

Few make much appeal in a low-grade lottery. Be Bold was runner-up over 7f at Wolverhampton last month still looking for his first win on the all-weather while Casey Banter won over a shorter trip at Yarmouth last year. Dawn Commando is less exposed though never troubled the winner when second over track and trip recently so a token vote goes to RED COSSACK to end a long losing run having slipped 12lb down the weights since joining Dean Ivory in November. He finished in front of Sir Lancelott when fourth at Chelmsford last month.
