      Verdict

      INTRICATE showed some improvement in a tougher contest than this at Newmarket last time. The Gosden filly is preferred to the likes of Dubrava, Redemptive and Miss Pollyanna of the others with experience in what looks only a modest affair. A couple of newcomers are worthy of a second glance with Loolwah a half-sister to a winner in France while Designated’s dam won on the all-weather. One of Sonja Henie’s winning relatives also scored on the all-weather and she’s another to note.
