        Verdict

        Given a weight for age allowance in this two mile handicap last time out winner M'LADY ROUSSEUR looks to have really strong claims on the contest and is therefore a confident pick ahead of Pocket Too and Baltimore Patriot. Not many of these runner are proven over this trip but the pick looked a different animal when introduced to this stamina tester for the first time on he last start. Granted she was given a hard time for her success but she is unexposed enough to improve and her age reprieve leaves her really well weighted. Pocket Too is another with no staying concerns as he has a record of five wins from 11 starts over this test. He didn't look great when returning to racing on the level last time but with weight removed for that run he is well below his last winning mark in this sphere. Baltimore Patriot looks well worth a go over this trip with his recent best coming over further at Wolverhampton at the back end of last season. He's a pound better off than when narrowly missing out there so he should at least get back in the prizes. Dune Raider looks the only other to seriously consider after some encouraging efforts over timber.
