In depth

Verdict

A lengthy absence is a bit of a worry regarding WHALEWEIGH STATION, but he won't need to be at his best to make a winning return. Rated 98 after good efforts in the July Stakes and a Group 3 in France, Tom Dascombe's charge is the one to beat if retaining his ability. Amber Isle and Sejel are likely to have improved from recent debut efforts and should be thereabouts while Knavery and Inflection could prove best of the newcomers.
