Encores put in an excellent effort last week and can go one better this afternoon, Emma Jean Lad and Bold Cross could provide most danger. Neville Callaghan's charge looked all over the winner in that Yarmouth contest before the late kick of Seneschal. That winner has run well again since, so the form looks rock solid. Emma Jean Lad hit winning form last time out, beating Ganache over course and distance. he held on well that day and another big run can be expected. Bold Cross has been in good form all season and has managed a couple of victories. He may be just a little high in the weights today but should still be in the shake up. The best of the remainder could be Herb Paris, but Encores deserves another success and he could get it today.
