    Verdict

Hay Dude recorded last year's good efforts in heavy ground and has something to prove on his return while Ready has an 8lb rise to contend with after ending last season with a double on the Polytrack. Red Refraction finally opened his account with a maiden win at Lingfield when beating a subsequent winner and course winner Living The Life is another who needs to improve on her handicap debut. Rouge Nuage has leading claims on his second at Lingfield last month but it could pay to stick with PROPHETS PRIDE. He bids for hat-trick having won a handicap over 7f here in January and today's extra distance looks well within his scope.
