      Verdict

      PURE DIAMOND ran no sort of race in the Group 2 May Hill at Doncaster when sent off favourite. But she gets another chance on her earlier six length defeat of a subsequent winner over course and distance. Vicennalia also represents Godolphin and made a winning start at Newbury while Gerrard's Quest will find this easier than his latest task in a valuable sales race at Doncaster. Zodiakos proved a disappointment in soft ground last time but scored at Sandown earlier and is preferred to the more exposed Risk Adjusted.
