In depth
Verdict
There is a worry that this may be a bit sharp for Saint Roque, who has won four times over hurdles but generally competes over longer trips and fell in a Grade 2 over 3m at Cheltenham on his latest start. Plan Again hasn't run since landing a maiden hurdle at Kelso in April and is another who may do better when going further so the vote in this goes to SIGN OF A VICTORY. Though a beaten favourite on his hurdling debut at Newbury, he wasn't disgraced and had won a Ludlow bumper by eight lengths on his previous start. Simply A Legend was only beaten half-a-length by a useful novice at Huntingdon last month but the others would need a couple of the aforementioned to underperform to make the frame.
