In depth

Verdict

Pigeon Creek has been in good form over fences and can revert to hurdles on a much lower mark so has to be on the short-list along with Kilcross Boy, who was runner-up in a Limerick handicap in July from today's mark. The winner that day, Cerveza Dinero, has been in poor form though his stable has been going well so he shouldn't be totally discounted. SCOUTING PARTY won a Thurles handicap in April and has gone well enough subsequently from a much higher mark to be handed the vote. Excellent As Usual likes it around here and may do best of the remainder.
