God's County deserves to win a race soon and hasn't done much wrong so far. He found the minimum trip too short last time and this is more like it but he has a Flat penalty to contend with and ROCKOFINSPIRATION may have his measure. Dessie Hughes's charge started a short-priced favourite over this C&D in June after an excellent run at Killarney but found the very firm ground against him and today's conditions should be perfect. Hughes also runs the lightly-raced Like A Comet but he may just need this and Substitute looks more likely to fight it out for the places.
