      Verdict

ROYAL BLADE continued his recent progress with a win over C&D last time. He goes well for an apprentice and has the beating of Weetentherty and Distant Sun on latest running. Alan Berry's charge gets the vote ahead of Blown It, who scored at Catterick during the week and should be thereabouts again despite a penalty, while Blues Jazz has a good chance of landing his hat-trick after a couple of wins at Hamilton. Absa Lutte will appreciate the drop in grade after running well in better company last month.
