Verdict

Wonderoftheworld has never fulfilled early potential but had changed stables when a close third behind the promising Red Menace at Downpatrick last week. He could have turned the corner and holds the disappointing Make My Heart Fly on that form as Gordon Elliott's mare had every chance and was a further 11 lengths behind. However, runner-up that day was Knock On Steel, who attempted to make all and only succumbed on the run-in so a repeat would see him in the firing-line. Stoneford has been racing over further but has had plenty of chances so the vote goes to OSCARS DEN, who is coming late to fences but has always had plenty of ability and doesn't have many miles on the clock for his age.
