In depth

Verdict

GERALDO is likely to be at short odds here despite a long absence. His victory between the flags at Stowlin in May last year has worked out very well and the opposition doesn't look the strongest. Brooklyn Balance ran better than could have been expected of a 200/1 chance at Tipperary and has fitness on his side while Goaheadwiththeplan, who has shown potential over hurdles, is better than he showed on his return to a bumper in that latter race where he started favourite. The selection's stable companion Talk Of The Town is a half-brother to four winners and should have more basic pace than most of these while Larry O is one to note for the future.
