Verdict

TOMBSTONE (NAP) has to concede plenty of weight but his overall form over hurdles and fences entitles him to the vote. A winner over timber at Leopardstown in March, he wasn't beaten far in a Grade 3 at Tipperary last month and can get back on the winning trail. Gordon Elliott also runs Westland Row, who won over fences here last month but doesn't have the selection's credentials. Conrad Hastings also won a chase on this track last month but his form over timber leaves him a bit to find while Drumcliff, yet another chaser, hasn't run since falling in last year's Galway Plate when trained by Harry Fry. The four-year-old Flindt won a maiden hurdle here but takes on much stronger company.
