    Verdict

Gerald Mosse knows his way around here better than most of these riders and has the plum ride on DANZENO, a close third in the Wokingham and the winner of a Class 2 conditions' race at Haydock. He won a heritage handicap over the track and trip in 2017 from just 1lb lower and will take some beating. Robert Cowell has won this twice in recent years and Danny Tudhope is on board Encore d'Or for the yard. The 11-times winner has slowly dropped to a winnable mark and could provide a threat. The consistent Final Venture hasn't won since landing a Haydock Listed contest over two year's ago but there was nothing wrong with his close second to Ornate at Beverley last time while Corinthia Knight, nine-times a winner on the all-weather, gained his first Turf success at Pontefract last month, though was a long way behind the selection in the Wokingham.
