Verdict

Mr Carson will attract support given connections but he's been beaten a long way in both starts and is difficult to consider for this. Pollywollydoodle made a bright start at Down Royal before the expected improvement when runner-up to Magic Spear at Killarney and looks certain to get into the mix with further progress likely. Roisin Dubh has disappointed since a good run behind Parramatta at Ballinrobe but Our Lady Carmel showed improved form behind Oscars Joy at Limerick and wouldn't need much more to get involved. A chance is taken on BONOBO as he came in for strong support in a very strong bumper at Galway last week but reared up and unseated his rider at the start. Hopefully he'll be better behaved this time and losses can be recovered.
